VAT and Customs Policy

Domestic Orders (Within the UK):

  • All prices for orders delivered within the United Kingdom include a 20% Value Added Tax (VAT).

International Orders (Outside the UK):

  • Prices for orders shipped outside the United Kingdom do not include UK VAT.

  • Recipients of international orders are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and fees applicable in their destination country.

  • These additional charges are not covered or reimbursed by West French.

Customs Clearance and Delivery Times:

  • International shipments may experience delays due to customs procedures in the destination country.

  • West French has no control over customs processing times and cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance.

Returns and Refunds:

  • If an international order is returned to us due to unpaid customs duties or taxes, we will refund the cost of the items upon receipt, excluding the original shipping costs.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • For faulty or incorrect items, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a return and refund or replacement.

Customer Responsibilities:

  • It is the customer's responsibility to be informed about and comply with their country's import regulations and to pay any associated duties and taxes.

  • Failure to pay these charges may result in the parcel being held by customs or returned to us.
