The Powell Peralta Flight Mike Vallely Lightning Bolt skateboard deck in 8.5" features an iconic gold foil graphic reissued from its original 1997 release. Built using Powell Peralta’s advanced FLIGHT® construction, this deck delivers superior strength, lighter weight, and a longer-lasting pop, making it ideal for both collectors and serious skaters.

Handcrafted in Ventura, California, Powell Peralta decks are made from U.S. hard rock maple and reinforced with high-strength fiberglass. They’re fused using AirLam technology and epoxy resin, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to delamination. The graphics are printed in-house using eco-conscious, non-solvent inks and paints to help preserve air quality.

Throughout the late '90s and early 2000s, Mike Vallely toured the globe promoting skateboarding with unmatched passion. The Lightning Bolt graphic became a lasting symbol of his message of individuality, self-expression, and never giving up—values that continue to inspire generations of skateboarders.

This reissue is a tribute to Vallely's legacy, now constructed with Powell’s cutting-edge Flight Deck technology for modern performance.
