Santa Cruz skateboard deck Malba Crash Test Reissue 10.03"
The Santa Cruz Malba Crash Test Reissue deck features the original early 80s Micke Alba shape, graphics and concave. This first-time reissue also includes wheel wells and is hand screened and individually numbered at NHS.
This reissue uses the original 80s mounting hole pattern, so make sure to use trucks with a 6-hole baseplate. Recommended trucks include Independent Stage 11 169s or 215s, or Stage 4 166s.
7 ply North American Maple pressed individually using epoxy – making a strong, responsive deck with long lasting pop and consistent concave and kick.
Early 80s concave is based on Santa Cruz’s evolution from flat decks to the later tech concaves of the late 80s. It features defined mellow side-to-side concave with slight tail kick, just like Santa Cruz Street Skate, RS/C and pro models from the era including the Malba Tombstone.
