In the summer of 1984, while Mike McGill was perfecting the 540 McTwist at a Swedish summer camp, legendary Powell Peralta artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson was working on a new graphic for him. Building on the popular Skull & Bones theme, McGill added his own touch — the snake and lightning bolts, inspired by his home state of Florida. The result was one of the most iconic graphics in skateboard history. This limited edition reissue brings it back in style, with a bottom graphic featuring screenprinted ink over gold foil and a dyed veneer top with hand-printed logo.

A true piece of skate history, reissued for collectors and riders alike. Given the nature of the foil manufacturing process, slight variations and minor imperfections are perfectly normal and part of what makes each deck unique — no two are exactly the same.

Please note: due to the delicate nature of the foil finish, minor imperfections and slight variations in colour and pattern are a natural part of the manufacturing process and should be expected — particularly with gold foil graphics. The dip-dyed top veneer is also one of a kind, with natural wood grain variations meaning no two decks are identical. If you are purchasing this as a collector's piece, handle carefully when removing from packaging as the ink and foil adhesion can scratch easily.
